In honor of Mardi Gras we are thrilled to highlight one of our favorite spots in the Big Easy, the Garden District!
For all of the movie buffs out there, no trip to New Orlean's Garden District would be complete without visiting The Buckner Mansion. This home was the location of Miss Robichaux's academy, in American Horror Story: Coven.

The Garden District is one of the most beautifully preserved city districts in the United States and has a rich History. Notable celebrities such as Sandra Bullock own homes in the Garden District, and it is not too far from Tulane.
One of the more scenic ways to get to the Garden District from the French Quarter is via the St. Charles Streetcar Line from Canal Street. At just $1.25 one way, street cars are an affordable way to experience a movable piece of New Orleans history. |
